Andrew Adonis in Taunton

Sorry if you missed this excellent talk from Andrew Adonis. We have compiled a report for you, and we will be arranging more similar events soon.

Whatever your plans were for this coming Saturday afternoon, drop them. Andrew Adonis is coming to Taunton, to speak on “Brexit and how it can be stopped”. One of the few UK politicians to speak clearly and wisely throughout the whole sorry Brexit episode, Andrew has campaigned relentlessly against Brexit and for a People’s Vote.  We are very excited to have him here at short notice.
The talk is in the 1875 Club Room at the Somerset County Cricket ground, Taunton; please arrive at 13:00 for a 13:30 start.
See here for more information. Free of charge, but please book tickets from here.

With the government’s Brexit deal defeated again by a large margin, we are waiting for Parliament to vote on rejecting No Deal today, followed by a vote on asking for an extension to Article 50 on Thursday. Assuming that both of those pass, the only practical options are then to go for a People’s Vote on the deal or to cancel Brexit altogether (which Parliament, being sovereign, is perfectly entitled to do). So, keep pushing, keep talking to friends and neighbours, keep writing to your MPs.

The coaches to the march on the 23rd are now full, and we have started a waiting list; email us if you want to be added to it. We have also compiled a list of other ways of getting to the march.
